We know that enabling a person to access the right mental health support at the right time (avoiding under-treating or over-treating them) results in a more sustainable and effective recovery. But many private mental health services instead offer a ‘one-size fits all’ approach to treatment. At Teladoc Health UK, we have created our version of the clinically proven ‘Stepped Care’ model for our virtual mental health service delivery.
Our Mental Health services are designed for adults 18 years and over. However, we do offer a bespoke service to support children and parents. You can find out more by clicking here.
At Teladoc Health UK, we use our own Stepped Care approach to treating people. Read our blog article to find out more about this.

Our qualified mental health professionals use three psychometric assessments: PHQ9, GAD7 and CORE 10, as part of a process to determine the level and type of treatment a person requires during a 50-minute consultation.
These assessments are standardised questionnaires that ask about the frequency and intensity of common mental health symptoms.
Our mental health professionals will have an informed discussion with you establishing details and identifying an appropriate treatment plan with goals to work towards.
These can be completed by telephone or video. Appointment times are agreed with the patient.
Our service offers a confidential support line which enables callers to access in the moment mental help and emotional support. The service is staffed by qualified mental health practitioners.
The availability of the service means it can be accessed as and when required by the caller.
