Joakim shares his story
“I chose to use Teladoc Health’s Virtual GP service for two primary reasons. First, I needed a quick solution, as speaking to a general practitioner (GP) can often be a lengthy process. Second, I have had various GPs who tend to be dismissive regardless of where I go. It often feels like they don’t take my concerns seriously, and that’s disheartening.
I remember when I needed help and turned to this service out of desperation. I had a great experience, which encouraged me to return. While I don’t use it all the time, I appreciate having the option to speak with a doctor when I need to. The platform is user-friendly and entirely online; you can book an appointment at a time that suits you. I’ve interacted with two doctors, one of whom I saw twice. Both GPs were attentive, listened carefully, and provided valuable advice—exactly how I believe a doctor’s appointment should go.
I also tried the nutrition services and consulted with Emilia. She was very thorough, and I found it a really positive experience.
I’ve discussed Teladoc Health with my colleagues as well, as it’s easy to forget about it after the initial onboarding when you receive all the information.
