Fibromyalgia: Second Opinion Brings Clarity and Confidence

“After being diagnosed with CFS and Fibromyalgia, I felt anxious. I wanted to make sure that I was on the best treatment plan.

I am a broker who promotes value-added services, so luckily, I also had access to Teladoc Health UK’s Second Medical Opinion service.

After a consultation with a Teladoc Health GP, my case was sent to a CFS and Fibromyalgia expert for review. The report was so thorough. I’m incredibly grateful for the reassurance the report has given me. It has alleviated a lot of my anxieties about being misdiagnosed. What I’m feeling isn’t normal, but it is normal for the condition I have.

I’m now slowly starting to get my life back on track with a manageable treatment plan following NICE guidelines. I will be starting physiotherapy soon and have already changed some of my medications. I’m following a strict work, rest, and sleep schedule and finally starting to get some light cardio (20-minute walk) daily.
