I needed treatment for a fungal infection that I’d had before and knew required prescription cream. At the same time, I was already waiting several weeks just to speak with my GP surgery about another health issue, so I knew getting an appointment quickly through the NHS would be challenging.

The whole process was incredibly simple and straightforward, even for someone like me who isn’t particularly confident using apps and technology.

The doctor was professional, knowledgeable and polite. After discussing my symptoms, they arranged a prescription, and I had the medication I needed by Monday. The treatment worked quickly and the issue was resolved within a couple of days.

Without the service, I probably would have continued trying over-the-counter treatments and hoped for the best, or faced a long wait to speak to my GP. Instead, I got expert medical advice and the correct treatment almost immediately.

What impressed me most was the speed and convenience. When you can speak to a doctor quickly and get the right treatment without waiting weeks for an appointment, it’s a huge benefit. I’ve already recommended the service to others and would encourage anyone who has access to it to use it.
