
“A growth on my face appeared to be getting bigger, so I went to see a pharmacist. She seemed concerned and told me to see a GP. I rang my surgery, and whilst I could see the nurse swiftly, I really wanted a doctor to determine what it was, and there was little appointment availability. After waiting for a few days, I decided to use my insurance policy’s medical coverage.
I rang Teladoc Health and was connected to a GP within hours, given an online consultation with an experienced doctor who was able to diagnose the issue. He was amazing, listened to my concerns, and provided a prescription for a treatment cream. He also shared his notes with my GP practice. My own surgery then rang me the following day and offered an appointment with a doctor, who echoed and confirmed what the Teladoc Health GP had said.
The treatment worked, so I was grateful to have been seen so quickly and my mind put at rest rather than waiting for days not knowing. I’m a carer for my son, so it can be difficult to take time out to go to appointments. This time I didn’t need to leave the house, which really helped my situation and it was easy to speak via computer.
I would recommend this service and have done to my family and friends. It was very straightforward and it never hurts having a medical professional spending time listening and offering advice.”
