
“My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy nearly five years ago. Throughout this time, we encountered some challenges regarding the support we received from the NHS. Even though they couldn’t take over her care, their insights validated my instincts as a mother, highlighting that the NHS should have conducted additional tests, blood work, and face-to-face consultations.
This newfound confidence inspired me to reach out to her care team immediately and advocate for more thorough actions. Having someone review the case and offer expert advice feels like being armed with the necessary tools to ensure you receive the care you’re entitled to.
Honestly, I can’t imagine where we would be without this service. I was in a tough spot, trying to support my daughter and feeling as though I was on the brink of burnout due to frustration and uncertainty. Thankfully, this process has initiated a positive change for us. We are now on the path to obtaining the help we need.
