“I first heard about Teladoc Health through some colleagues at work. They were so enthusiastic about it—saying things like, “You have to use this, it’s brilliant!” They’d already had great experiences and spoke about how fast and convenient it was, especially when you need specialist advice quickly. Honestly, they sold it to me before I even looked into it.

The first time I used Teladoc Health was because I needed to speak to someone sooner than my GP could accommodate—I was facing a wait of over a week. I had some health concerns and wanted to talk to a professional quickly. I used the Virtual GP service, which was fantastic—fast, supportive, and helpful.

The second time I reached out was after I’d received some blood test results from my GP. I was waiting for a referral to a specialist through the NHS, but I was curious and concerned about the results. I didn’t want to sit and wait—I wanted to understand what was happening. I submitted a request through the platform, explained that I had test results and questions, and was amazed at how quickly everything moved. Within 24 hours, I had a call with a GP who helped me shape my questions more clearly—questions I wouldn’t have thought of myself. After uploading my test results, I received a detailed report from a Second Medical Opinion specialist. It answered all of my questions clearly and thoroughly and went beyond. It included recommendations on what to say to my GP, what additional tests might be useful, and even general health advice. The same GP I spoke to initially followed up with a call after receiving the report. She walked me through it, offered explanations, and encouraged me to ask more questions. It felt like having a friendly expert who cared about helping me understand my health and make confident decisions.

I would have relied solely on one GP’s opinion without this service. The NHS does an incredible job, but appointments are hard to come by, and the advice you get can be limited to one doctor’s perspective.
