
I’ve had a back problem for a while and was advised to try physiotherapy by my own doctor. It’s a high demand service and would have taken a while to secure an appointment and since I was in pain, it seemed faster to use my insurance coverage. So I rang Teladoc Health after being given their number by my insurance provider and found the process very simple to set up and follow.
I answered a few questions and was then given a virtual appointment with an experienced GP. It felt great to speak to a person that knew what they were talking about and spent time listening to my experience. The Teladoc Health doctor agreed about physiotherapy as a treatment and gave me a referral letter for a consultant/practitioner.
This conversation resulted in the ability to put a treatment plan in place earlier than expected and not having to take off time from work with mobility and pain issues. I’d recommend it due to ease and convenience and there’s no harm explaining your situation to a professional able to help.
