“Feeling really unwell on a Sunday, I suspected I might have a virus and was thinking about trying to get a local GP appointment. Fortunately, I remembered I could access Teladoc Health’s Virtual GP service via my insurance policy, so I decided to try it. After completing a triage form, I made an appointment for that afternoon and had a phone consultation with the doctor.
The registration process was simple, and the online consultation form resembled what you’d expect from a GP service, making it easy to provide information. Scheduling was convenient with various available time slots, even during early hours. I received a call from the doctor at the requested time. After a 20-minute conversation, the doctor prescribed medication, which I received via email promptly. The consultation was thorough, and I felt listened to.
I was able to pick up the medication from the pharmacist within 10 minutes of getting the prescription, which was great for a Sunday. This timely intervention prevented the infection from worsening, allowing me to enjoy my upcoming holiday without interruption. Having access to this service has benefited me and my family.
